Step 1: An employee creates a vacation request on the employee console from the
list of forms:
Step 2: The employee completes and submits a vacation request from the employee
console. At this step, the system will notify the employee if he/she has enough
leave. The system will also notify him/her if there are not enough employees scheduled
to cover the shift if the leave is permitted.
Step 3: The employee‘s request is pending approval:
Step 4: The supervisor is notified to approve the request through the Supervisor
Console. At this step, the system will notify the supervisor if the employee has
enough leave. The system will also notify the supervisor if there are not enough
employees scheduled to cover the shift if the leave is permitted.
Step 5: The supervisor approves or rejects the request:
Step 6: The requesting employee is notified of the approval:
Step 7: The employee’s timesheet and schedule are automatically updated and
ready for payroll:
